CD200, waiting and waiting.

Yup, I'm now cycle day 200. My last period was January 13th. No signs of AF turning up anytime soon either. This whole 'sit and wait for it' plan is a pile of crap but I got no choice, so I'm waiting.

Cycle Check In

Hello All!

I feels so out of the loop as of late, so I thought I would initiate a cycle check in. I know this hasn't been done in a while, just wanted to see where everyone is so we can give support where it is needed. Feel free to post in the comments, if you'd like, where you are in your cycle/journey.

Looking forward to hearing from you all,
Em

My body is a witch.

Here I was, all geared up and ready to go. I had my CBE to chart my ovulation, I had my calendar in which I was keeping track of my cycle, I had Preseed, I had it all.

Well, everything that is, except an egg.

Yeah that's right, my stupid body decided not to ovulate this month. I woke up yesterday with some tender ladies and a pissed off attitude. I've seriously been peeing on a stick for almost two weeks (and approximately 8 of those days were on the second bar so I thought I was getting close).

Now unless I magically missed this day, according to my OPK I did not ever reach the top bar, thus signifying to me that I didn't ovulate.

I'm annoyed with this, yet at the same time I'm also kind of excited (if this even makes any sense). I have my doctor's appointment on Thursday, and this is a vital piece of information he needs to know. He also needs to know that last month my cycle was 41 days and this month I'm on CD 22 and I already have AF symptoms. There is obviously something wrong.

I deeply suspect PCOS but I'm afraid he may not agree with me. I've had bloodwork done in the past, which has been normal. I've also had an abdominal ultrasound that's come back normal. I have no idea how this is possible because obviously I'm NOT normal (in more ways than one).

This month was definitely not for lack of trying. My mind was trying, my body apparently wasn't on the same page.

Cycle Update

Today is CD2. AF came a few days early this time around, which I guess is better than the alternative. So this marks the comeback of my charting. Honestly, I'm not looking forward to it. It already seems like my thoughts are constantl revolving around TTC, but when I am charting, it feels like its running my life. Its really just a problem with me and my inability to find balance. I've always been that way, I'll focus so hard on one or two things, that everything else just fades into the background. ,

I think that my body keeps on playing a life long practical joke on me. "Ha ha Sharon, I so got you!". My husband and I had a romantic evening planned last night, because I still had a few days before we had to worry about AF, and bam. There she is. What a citag. Screeching halt on romantic plans. Not that it was a bad night by any means, we hung out, goofed around, like we always do.

This is my first cycle since I started the Metformin, I'm hoping it does its job..

Maybe, maybe not.

I'm on day 27 in my cycle. I calculated that this cycle will be approximately 35 days, give or take (and that's a reallllly rough estimate).

So technically, according to what I think, I should be in the 2ww. I did just start taking Fertility Blend this cycle, so I'm hoping (crossing fingers and toes and anything else that can be crossed) that I'll have a "normal" length of a cycle.

I didn't really track anything this month besides the length of my cycle because I wanted to give myself a good month of taking these vitamins before I started my regime. You know the drill: basal temps, opk's, the whole nine yards.

I want to be so hopeful, but really when it comes down to it, I'm not so much. I don't think this is going to happen naturally for us.

My hubby is taking the male version of Fertility Blend. He seems to think that this is going to work. He also seems to think that if we just BD more it'll happen.

I hate to be so pessimistic, but really? It's been nearly 6 years since I threw away the BC pills and we should have had an "Oops" by now. Not to mention, I tried clomid for a few months and that didn't work either.

I suppose in all reality, I'm doing this for the next five months just to "prove" to him that there is really something wrong. I'm no longer in denial that there's something wrong with one of us. I know something isn't right.

I just wish he would start to see it that way too.

Nada my amigas...

Well, for anyone who missed my early morning POAS today...

BIG F**King Negative.

A BOO. :(

So, I wasn't actually thinking that this would be my miracle month... no clomid, no hcg, no progesterone...didn't even cycle monitor. I don't even know if I ovulated or not.  But I was still kind of hoping. No, I was REALLY hoping.  Especially after my one day of spotting 8 DPO (or when my fertility calandar on my iPhone said I ovulated. Had CM, all that jazz, but who really knows).

Oh, one more thing, in case anyone was wondering - went to the gyn on Monday and actually got seen... she did a pap which nearly made me pass out for some wierd reason.  And I told her (very briefly) about how I was not too happy at the fertility clinic she sent me to, so she said she will refer me to another dr. who specializes in Endo, PCOS, but not necesarily with such a focus on IF.  I think that if I have a dr. I can talk to then I'll be able to stomach being rushed through my appointments at the fertility clinic, so we'll probably wind up with a combination of the two.

anyways... just thought I'd post on here and let you all know.
Can't wait to get back on the bandwagon in the spring and do IUI #1.
I've had enough of this - need my BFP now!

ps.
Don't forget to stop by my blog - and please vote for your favourite song!
Want to know which one to use for my birthday present to myself - a proffessional recording session for one song to make use a single/demo - my birthday just over a month away!

Check in- 2ww

Just want to pop in do my cycle update. Today I am 10dpo, nearing the end of the 2ww and trying to stay both positive and rational at the same time (no easy feat) At this point I start feeling like the 2ww will never end and that the clock is doing this. My LP is usually 12 days, 13 at the most, so it shouldn't be long until I know something.

Despite my promises to myself to stop temping during 2ww, I've done it anyway. Yesterday (9dpo) I had a HUGE drop and felt pretty negative but today temps are right back to where they were and I have not had the same cramping I usually do at this point. Although I did have a very brief sharp pain this morning in the center of my lower abdomen- right above pubic bone. Good signs? I dunno, hmmm. Trying not to get carried away but keeping my fingers crossed!

Intro & Cycle Check In

Well I am officially done slacking on writing my intro/cycle update for the ttchappyhour blog! I want to start by again thanking Kate and Roxanne for starting this blog! I love being able to get caught up on where everyone is and get to know know some of the lovely ladies of ttc happy hour a little better! You two rock!

To introduce myself, my name is Holly and I recently turned 27. I have been married to Chad (also 27) for nearly 3 years (together for 8) and we have been TTC since April/May 2007. I have my own blog here, please feel free to follow and I'll also add you to my page! I have been diagnosed with a blocked fallopian tube on my left side, all other fertility tests have come back with good results. I am on round 3 of 50mg Clomid to try and increase chances of Oing on my right "good" side. After this month if I'm not preggo I will be going back to the Dr to discuss additional treatment options including IUI, laproscopy etc.

Today is CD 22 and I am 4dpo so just barely started my 2ww. I always hate this part. I was telling DH a few weeks ago how great the week between AF and O is. It's the only time all month when my life and emotions aren't 100% ruled by TTC. No sex on demand, no bleeding, no clomid, I can have a glass of wine if I want. It's one of the nice things about having slightly longer cycles that I have more time like that for myself each month. But alas that time is over. I have done the opks, the constant "fertile window" sex ritual and am now trying to patiently wait out my 2ww. It's realy early so I don't have any exciting symptoms or anything and I am trying to ignore any that may crop up anyway since they're so misleading. Well, trying to ignore symotoms. I couldn't help but notice twingy like cramps in my uterus last night (I think I have been getting them every month on clomid at 3dpo) and today I have had tons of CM (sorry if TMI) Ha! when I swear not to pay attention to these things it's like my body kicks into overdrive and forces me to notice!

I just so want this month to be it! I am so afraid of facing the possibility of having a hydrosalpinx and having to have surgery to remove/treat it. I am trying to stay positive but after some extreme but short lived pain the day before O I am starting to get paranoid that it was my tube causing it and I've wasted the past few months on Clomid without having had surgery. I mean I don't want to have a lap if I don't have to but if this tube is sabotaging my ability to get pregnant, I want the damn thing out!

I will keep you posted as my 2ww goes (drags) on. Please keep your fingers crossed for me!
